Vertical Carousels

Vertical carousels take advantage of valuable unused vertical space by providing multi-level high density storage. They consist of a series of linked or independent storage trays on vertical tracks that are automatically retrieved and delivered for manual picking. Tray selection is based upon order input by interface downloads, scanning or manual entry. Cube Utilization – Vertical carousels make fuller use of available overhead space. Productivity – Increase operator productivity by travel time to the item required.

Horizontal Carousels

A horizontal carousel is a high-density storage device consisting of a series of linked bins mounted on a horizontal track. When activated, the bins rotate horizontally to bring the required items to the operator or an automated picker.

Bin selection is based upon order input by electric downloads, scanning or manual entry and control.High Throughput – Picking rates up to 800 lines per operator.Reduced man-hours – Up to two-thirds of previously required/ saved.
