At MWI, we help businesses in obtaining material handling permits with a proven success rate. We make sure that your facility is up to date with fire and seismic mitigation depending on the scope of your construction and material handling project and the jurisdiction. Let’s take a look at how we can assist you in making your material handling structures attuned to the permitting process.

Structural analysis of material handling facility:
From the initial concept to component details and final structural analysis, MWI has decades of expertise in managing any permitting job irrespective of project size and complexity. We engage our highly skilled engineering and CAD staff to meet your needs based on your core business objectives and bottom-line, all while following the guidelines of the city and fire regulations and requirements.

Component details of material handling structures:
The collection of component details is vital to take important safety measures in material handling structures that will help getting your permit. These details include material specifications, beam to column connections, anchorage requirements and welding details, etc. Product and packaging details are also collected to determine storage density and sprinkler considerations. We assist businesses in this area with precision.

Layout drawings for material handling structures:
We provide layout drawings specified to large scale and typically include elevation views, plan view and cross sectional details of the entire material handling structure including sprinklers. These layouts ensure the material handling system will be installed per plan while meeting process flow requirements.

While MWI commonly upgrades existing systems due to citations or driven by insurance, for the most productive systems, MWI always recommends starting any planned upgrades or new facilities with proper engineering.
